Literacy

Reading and writing are essential skills for an individual and a nation to develop. Just 28% of Mozambican women are literate. One key focus of No Poor Among Us is to help women master reading and writing skills. Once literate, a woman’s chances of gaining employment or successfully running a small business increase exponentially. A one-year literacy course provided by No Poor Among Us helps women at any level learn how to read and write.
